Privacy Notice

Metal Labs builds ultra low latency bare-metal server infrastructure for online multiplayer games. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For any privacy question or request, email petter@metallabs.co.

Information you send us. When you use a contact form on this site — including the configuration enquiry in the server builder — we receive your name, email address, company or studio name where provided, and your answers to the questions about your current server performance challenge, what you have already tried, your alternative plan, and where you want your business to be in six months. Configuration enquiries also include the rack configuration and capacity figures you built.

Analytics information. We use Google Analytics, which collects the pages you view, the approximate location derived from your IP address (country and region level), your device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, how long you stay, and interactions such as opening a form, choosing a comparison instance, or selecting a data center location.

We do not ask for or intentionally collect payment details, government identifiers, or other sensitive categories of personal information through this site.

We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, understand your requirements, and follow up about our infrastructure. We use analytics information to understand which pages are useful, fix problems, and improve the site. Our basis for this is our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business, and — where you contact us — taking steps to enter into an agreement with you.

Cookies set by Google Analytics help us count visits and recognise returning browsers. They are not used for advertising and we do not sell any of this data.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop analytics collection across all sites. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to use this site or contact us.

We share information only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf: our website and database hosting provider, Google Analytics for site measurement, and our email delivery provider for the notification and confirmation emails triggered by a form. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards their own terms provide.

Enquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact with you and for up to 24 months afterwards, so we can pick up the conversation where it left off. Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months. We delete information sooner if you ask us to.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it. Email petter@metallabs.co and we will respond within 30 days. You can also unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message we send you.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
